“Do the best you can with what you’ve got, then don’t worry about it.” –Ivan Hall

Kristen Goins had a dream to create a home based business. She wanted to operate a bakery and named it, “Cupcake and Gourmet Treats by Kristen.” Since starting a bakery from a shop is expensive, she elected to bake treats from her home kitchen. She focused on marketing and getting the word out about her business.

This was reported on the Clarion Online in April 2016. I covered this on my blog here:

Kristen moved forward and developed her crucial strategy to sell treats: Free Delivery. She gave away samples of her products to nearby office parks and college dorms. She created “Care Packages” for parents wanting to send a gift to their college students.

Kristen also used social media to get the word out. She uses Facebook to hold contests to give away free treats to attract new customers and keep her existing clients. It worked. She is very busy.

This is an example of a creative way to develop a business from home. What do you think? Leave a comment below and share your ideas. Don’t forget to click the “like” button and share this video with your friends.
